It is called also\u00a0<strong>Biancame or Greco<\/strong>\u00a0and its origins are ancient.<\/p>\n<p>It is said that in the hot eve of the Metaurus battle (207 B.C.), the Cartaginian army of Hasdrubal indulged in the pleasure of this wine and the next day they lost the war against the Roman Empire.<\/p>\n<p>This native grape is\u00a0<strong>protected by the European Community<\/strong>\u00a0because of it has limited distribution restricted to a few municipalities in the province of Pesaro, in the Marche.<\/p>\n<p>Recent DNA studies attribute the origin of this grapes variety to a Trebbiano but because of its stay from ancient times on these territories, it has developed special characteristics that give the wine\u00a0<strong>Bianchello<\/strong> a distinct personality.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Le uve Bianchello del Metauro vengono coltivate in vicinanza del mare o nelle colline prospicienti la vallata del fiume Metauro.
