The bouquet has an initial fruity attack of cherries, raspberries and sour cherries in spirit and black cherry jam, floral violet and peony, then continues with a spicy mace (nutmeg) and black pepper.
On the palate it is immediately enveloping and soft, sapid, with well-developed, vigorous but velvety tannins. Final with good aromatic persistence that recalls notes of ripe red fruit. Structured wine with alcohol, acidity and tannins of equal intensity, making it intense and full-bodied but with a pleasant, non-tiring drinkability.
